Is anyone in this fandom familiar with the NeuYako doujin “Jabberwocky”?

It was released by NineFourAir, who was kind of a BNF in the Neuro fandom back in the heyday (2007-2009). It runs about 40-50 pages IIRC, and it’s pretty plot-heavy - some dramatic shit to do with Neuro returning to the demon world, I can’t remember exactly, there’s a lot of awesome art of demons and Neuro and Yako shag is what it boils down to.

ANYWAY.

I’ve been considering translating it for quite a bit - I’ve had the files knocking around my hard drive for ages, and I think it would be a good challenge for my language skills. The only problem is that I don’t ship NeuYako. At all. I’ve mostly gotten over my irrational animosity towards the pairing, but I’m still really, really not interested in it. And when you’re really, really not interested in something, it’s sort of hard to spend your afternoons transcribing page after page of dialogue about it.

However, what I am really, really interested in (as anyone who’s spent 5 minutes around me can attest) is Sicks/Genuine. It’s basically my OTP of OTPs - I’m willing to spend hours trawling around the arse end of Google for anything that’s even vaguely related to it. And so I was thinking: what if there was some way for me to get my jollies at the same time as the NeuYako fans were getting theirs?

What I’m proposing here is a sort of reverse-Kickstarter thing: I make X amount of progress on the doujin, and someone writes me (or draws me, or interpretively dances for me) Y amount of horrible, horrible smut about horrible, horrible people. You get your squees, I get mine, and the world goes round. I’m not gonna hold the doujin hostage - you’re welcome to translate it for yourself, if you want. I’m just saying that this is a doujin a lot of fans have wanted done for a long time, and I’m willing to do it for a fairly innocuous price.

So, whaddya say?
